yahoo groups traffic
 

Does anyone here run yahoo groups? What type and how is the traffic?

forgot about this...bump one last time

I tried opening a few groups but it was tedious to manage so I abandoned them. Instead I tried Yahoo profiles and got a little bit of traffic. Not really worth the effort .. but i'm far from an authority on how to do it right.

I used to spam Yahoo groups and got a few sales. I imagine running a few groups might be good but only if you start the groups and let someone else run em? hmmmmm

hit my brother aj up. he has a google group. its just created he isnt doing anything with it. but its got lots of members. maybe you can workout something with him.

I found that the yahoo groups don't do much good for camcutie.com but work really well for the local swingers club and local swingers website that I own.

Do you do anything to bring in traffic or do you pretty much let people find it on their own?

We find yahoo groups a very valuable way to communicate with our fans. The key is being VERY niche specific. ie:A 'big boobs' group might get a lot of members but a 'mature swinger with big boobs and long pointy nipples' group is going to get more loyal members looking *specifically* for what you're offering. Being that specific makes it more likely to get a sale out of the loyal fans. It does take a lot of work but once you have them set up, they're pretty easy to maintain.

i run alot of groups, total about 100k members...

its eyeballs on your product... but i dont consider it good traffic to sell to.

but im sure there are signups here and there in it for me

The local swingers find it on their own....
