New Designer Wanted
 

We've decided to not go with the designer we hired and are now searching for a replacement. Our site is College Exposed.

1) The look and feel of the design must be "college", a girl next door type site. We have a layout we want to use, just need to find the right designer to capture the look and feel we're going after.

2) Please show us what college niche sites you've done, as well as other sites not in this niche.

3) Please post your info here before you IM me.

collegesucks.com rocks. The site, I mean. I don't know you personally, but it seems like you've got a good thing going there.

That site would be better if the girls actually looked like they were in college

This guy, Reak, IMs me to see if we found a designer. I told him that we're not going to until this weekend. We wanted to get everyone's portfolio so we could look them over. He gives me the URL below and I look it over. Since I didn't see any college niche sites, I asked him if he's done any. He says yes. Ok, I ask him if I can see some that they've done (he isn't the designer, I think he just outsources). Anyways, he says "our portfolio crashed in December" and "Anyway i wish you good luck". I reply "so you don't want our business?". He tells me that he doesn't have anything college niche to show me. I ask him again, has any of his designers done a college niche site. He said yes (at this point the conversation gets painful). I tell him to ask his designers for a URL of a college niche site they've done. Then he IMs me back "i dont feel like this is going to work out." Just too funny.
