ATM Machine didn't give me what it was suppose to!

contact the bank they will show the shortage in the count the next time it is counted

What exactly happened?

Dam I guess I'll call the # on the atm in a bit. I tried to withdraw $350 and it put out money and that screen display of the result was only for $280. I pulled out the money and guess what...only $280. I check my balance and it actually took $350 out of my account.

Next time get the 100 dollar escort and you won't have this problem!

I think I have proof though cus it was from my epassporte card and I just checked my transaction history on their site and it shows a $350 deduction and that stupid ass msu credit union machine should show a $280 whhatever

It happen to me before, probably that the atm was out of money, the balance should be corrected in 2-3 days in your bank accont.The way it work is that the atm get is "OK" for a certain amount before issuing cash.so the balance will be corrected when they deposit the refund of the money you dint get

Go into the branch and speak to a teller about the problem!
Make sure to take a weapon of some kind! :winkwink:

It happened to me once. I was trying to pull $300 and got nothing. I called the bank, they looked on their computer and confirmed it gave me nothing and put my money back into my account all within 5 minutes.

did you atleast jump around the camera inside the ATM and point to the cash in your hand and show your fingers in a TWO-EIGHT-ZERO format then shake your finger and say THREE-FIVE-ZERO.

LOL, that way you can be like go fucking check the security camera.

I wrote down the # of the bank but I don't think I should call them right now. This of course had to happen right on my way home from the bar all fucked up trying to get money to pay a bill in the morning.

Now watch your montly fees gradually rise a few bucks each month to cover their loss if you complain

I didn't visually count the money directly in front of the camera but I made some what of a seen. I guy I used to work with came into the store right when it happened and we were all talking about it right there in front of the machine and then one of the QD guys came over there and asked what was going on so ya the tape wouldnt look ordinary.

The MSU atm's are free for some reason.

If its from epassporte dont worry just call up the support # and explain , and they will fix your account. ( sometimes it takes a few days )

The problem happens when the atm is low on funds , but not empty , so it will imit the amount you take out, you may have seen a message like " trying to partially reverse transaction " then " transaction falied " and it spits out however much it wants then gives you a receipt. Dont even bother with the bank they cant help you.

What pisses me off is the atm prob isnt out of cash or it would shut off , it just wants to save funds to give everyone $20 or so. because when it happened to me some guy walked up and took out $60 right after i got denied for 600 and it only gave me 400

on a debit card it will always succesfully revers the transaction , but if its a cash withdrawl from an atm or "cash advance" on a credit card it cant reverse it.

It sucks because it could just deny the charge and say "machine out of funds" so you could go to another machine, by doing it the way they do it , they get millions of dollars to play with for a few days..

350? i thought atms only went in incriments of $20

Contact the bank. They keep records of all failed transactions.

my bank has increments of $5

some of the local bodegas have ones with $10 increments

happenned to a friend in a bar

tried to take out 100$, got 0
retried, got his 100$

200$ was taken out of his account

he called the bank and he waited 3 weeks before having the his money back

Minimum increments $350? hell no. $10 or $20 from what I've seen.
