Try not to get all "Chicken Little" about TGPs, and Webmasters, being
chased out of the adult industry. First you should find out what is happening
and who ¹ ² is generating the "attacks".

There has been names thrown around and maybe it's these names you want
to find out more about.

Funding. No organization operates without capital. Where is the funding¹ ² coming from?

Who benefits the most from Webmasters being shut down? Competitors perhaps?

Tools create greater tools. We use them in many forms. Your computer, would
it not be a utterly useless piece of machine without the tools you attach to it?
What tools are these alleged attackers using that the Webmasters are not?
Hint; Lawyers and the Law.

Webmasters rarely use the Law and when they do it's usually used as a defense tool. The
Law can also be used as an offensive tool (no pun intended).

In closing, you have to fight for what you worked for and there will always be
greasy little cretins that want to take what you have.

Thank you for a very informative post. I especially liked the pleading of the FTC vs Amkraut.

I went through the list of competitors hoping to see a site I am associated with on that list, and I suggest any content provider to check it out. These types love to pad their members list like sponsors shave clicks, and it would be great to see your name there if you were not a member. The thing about that list I find ridiculous is that the whole medicine show
that A*** threw at them can compare to Jimmy Hoffa and what he was
preaching to the laborers when he was trying to get them to join the union.

You have to be aware that someone who comes to you about
protecting you most definitely has their own hidden agenda that
will benefit them a lot more than the service they offer you.

Hoffa wanted $$$ and power.
A*** wants $$$ and the competition reduced.

The same tactics also apply with infomercials.

Anyway a lot of Webmasters joined their little coalition and strength is
in numbers.

I rarely say this, but you are absolutely right. I had not even looked at it from that point of view.

For those of you slower than me, look at APIC as one of the people applying for a green card and getting caught in that scam.
