Because to me, these domains have little value outside of the alleged type-in traffic.

Yeah, I know it's been awhile but I'm working on a new domain I just bought, studenthumor.com its going to be a site for college students like myself and the majority of you. So if the updates are lacking just remember that, because once that site gets up it'll be the best site on the internet, even better then that one child porn site.

If the name really receives 40 typeins per day, as alleged by the owner, then those are some poor appraisals. :winkwink:

It's very common for forum appraisals at that site (and others) to not be backed up in the sales threads. I would guess that if the name was listed there for sale today, it would generate a response similar to the first time it was offered.

But you never really know.
