Can You Press Charges If Someone Puts a Gun To Your Head?
 

I was at my buddie's house this weekend and one of his "friends" whips out a 9mm and pushes it against my temple. All he said was, "Just imagine if I didnt' know you, you'd be dead!" and he put the gun away.

I want to press charges against this sick fuck! Do I have a leg to stand on?

Yea you should press charges, I'm sure if he's as strange as that he wont find you and shoot you in the knee for getting him arrested.

Is this guy a friend of one of your friends? If so, I would seriously question whether you even want to be friends with someone that would also be friends with an idiot like that.

High - The proper term for this infraction is know as "felony menacing". You only have to be able to prove that at some point you were "afraid for your life".

If it had been me, I would take him to civil court to at least pay the cleaning costs on my drawers. :winkwink:

Agg assault with a deadly weapon. And then most likely carrying a concealed weapon and may other things.

I would just leave it, avoid the fuck, and move on with your life... you don't want to piss him off and end up with a bullet in your head....

There were 2 boats going out and each boat had roughly 30 people on them. So friends invited friends who invited friends...etc.

I am going to call the State Attorney and see what can be done.

You cant do anything legally now , without causing yourself alot of hassle , settle it the old fashion way. Punch him in the nose and take his gun, throw it in the bay
