More proof that Hollywood is fucked up

Giving someone a Lifetime Achievement Award when they're only 30 years old.

I've got nothing against Leonardo DiCaprio, but this is the kind of award you give someone when they're near the end of their career. For all we know, he might continue acting for another 30 years.

These award shows are ridiculous

I think it's probable just because DiCaprio is on the hot list right now, and they just want to jump on the bandwagon to maybe draw some attention to their organization.

He says the complete opposite in the article

"It's a lifetime achievement award, which is completely and utterly surreal, given I'm only 30 years old," he continued, with a laugh. "But, you know, what has it been? Almost 17 years now. I've done quite a few films. But what's really exciting, for me, is that this is what I really love doing. It's what I want to do for the rest of my life."
