Evil1 01-31-2005 10:56 AM

Because our company is here, and I like to be able to communicate with them directly. Our strategies are complex sometimes, and we don't use the "usual" models. It's worked for a few years being in CT, so I see no reason to expand to "anywhere" workers just yet.

You're right. It's not. But that's a lot of workers and equipment to pack into a U-Haul. ;)

UHauls don't scare me, it's just a lot of equipment/people to load on one. ;) It's not like I'm smuggling Chinese people into the U.S. or something -- I don't have experience in this area!

It's hard to understand over the Internet, I guess -- I was being a bitch right back at you. ;)

Our offices are in Hamden, CT, but I live in Wallingford, CT.

Pornwolf 01-31-2005 02:40 PM

I hear the summers in Conn. are great. A friend of mine sent this picture last summer.

Whoever takes the job has a lot to look forward to.

edgeprod 02-01-2005 08:30 AM

LOL! Isn't it the richest state in the U.S.?

It's actually one of the smartest states, whatever that is worth.

Well, when you consider that the only states that aren't pretty much trailers and assholes are FL, NY, CA, and NJ, that isn't saying much.

:winkwink:

Yep. A couple of exits to the north for Hamden, and a few more north for Wallingford. They're both pretty much suburbs of New Haven, but Hamden is a lot more run down (proximity issues).

dtoolbox 02-01-2005 05:23 PM

edgeprod 02-01-2005 06:41 PM

Theoretically. Will you work for peanuts and clean my balls with your tongue every day like the rest of the foreign workers we have?

RottenPug 02-01-2005 06:42 PM

Damn where can I find some people to do that in Jersey? :thumbsup

Well..it is good to have English speakers in the same time zone...plus I hear the guys outside North America start out cheap and then start jacking the price up...

Ok. Let me know when you're *in* CT. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and cumshots on your sister in law.

Well, that's the thing. I like to work in close proximity to everyone. In the same office is perfect.

We've had some problems in the past with people ... er.. overestimating time spent, shall we say?
