strip club?
 

Ok ... I'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking this, but since this seems to be one of the bigger boards I thought I'd give it a go.

A couple of friends and I are looking into getting a strip club setup in NY. Does anyone know of any info that could point us in the right direction on getting things started?

We are in the process of purchasing a building once we get the location set, but aside of the obvious need of girls and liquor, what else is there?

security and a press agency.
DJ. and a/v system. lighting desiner with strip club experience.
control system at bar as well as register network.
interior designer that will address furniture issues.

what about your kitchen? Parking? VIP areas?


do you really know what you're getting into?

It is a lot of work and cost lots of money, I know a guy that opened one up that cost 4 million to open and now 6 month later he is selling it for 8 million because it is banking.

Zoning is the hardest for NYC - if you are upstate thing might be easier. It is a cash business...

remember that you'll probably also be "donating" cash to a couple Italian and/or Russia gentlemen who will call on your establishment to provide services ranging from protecting your girls to ensuring a trouble-free liqour license...

first you need alot of slutty bitches....then go from there :thumbsup
