What's a GOOD Dedicated Host that can beat this deal
 

Hey people. I've been having problems with my current server, it's not that they're bad quality, it's just that they've been pissing me off lately. I'm going through Choopa.com which has great prices, but it's pretty much a one man show, dispite the looks of their site that it's a full fledged operation.

What's pissing me off is that at LEAST 4 times now he let my server logs get filled up, which shut down the scripts on a couple of my page, each time he said that he'd fix it, but it never happend.

Actually, RIGHT NOW as I type this, it's happened and my sites aren't sending out any traffic, which really pisses me off and I can't even get ahold of the guy, he's probably still sleeping and there's nobody else that I can contact about the situation. I'm losing traffic and money right now, which really gets me pissed.

Anyways, here's what I got right now -

18-Gig HD
3mb/s burstable
Price - $1075

To me, that seems like a damn good deal to me anyways, the network is pretty reliable, but when you bundle that with no support and someone that doesn't do what they say, it's not much of a good deal.

Also, he was supposed to give me the info to access my server, but he never did, so I'm fucked.

Wow, so many offers here, he he he. I'll see if I can get ahold of all of you, there's lots of replies here.

I did get ahold of my server guy, it's pretty bad though because I had to contact Exodus to have them get ahold of the guy, so he'd call me. I was trying to call them for a couple of hours, but they got to him right away, must've had a secret number, ha ha ha.

Anyways, I'll try to get ahold of you guys in the next day or so. I've got a job ahead of me now to make sure that my trades are going good again.

This is a common problem with servers that have not been configured properly (usually due to a lack of knowledge). This kind of thing takes less than a minute to fix.

Make sure that your next host can and will monitor your server 24/7 and there is a way to contact them at anytime.

Well, I just had a nice ICQ talk with Dave from Choopa and he made things right. He gave me an updated phone number and another person that I can contact if I have troubles.

ALSO, he took off 50% of this month's bill for the trouble that I've had, so that was very nice of him to do.

I guess that maybe I shouldn't have been flaming like I've been because in the end they made it alright after we did get in contact, but I'm sure that anybody knows that when there's a problem with their sites, that it's not a happy matter, especially when you can't contact those in charge of your server.

I think now that this problem is ironed out now, the problem should be fixed for good, so I'm gonna stick with them. Their network has been rock solid for me, which is the main thing. Problems like I had are minor compared to those and now that we're over this hurdle, it should be smooth sailing from here.
