reminds me of some other images of slicing off innocent heads with machetes and then broadcasting it.

whilst not condoning they are factual images of what war is about. It's not sugar-coated media garbage.. . . the captions are a bit on the "consumption junctionish" side of the fence but these are trained killers not babysittters.

No, I'm sure the owner of the site went to Iraq and took some pictures just so he could make the soldiers look bad.

As far as I'm concerned the captions are more disgusting than the images.

I asked who is posting them. . . it's kinda obvious that soldiers or someone in Iraq took the pics, but the posting and captioning of those images might not be by the same people. . . It'd be easy to make people look bad that way that's why I asked, but I'm sure this is the way a soldier sees things. Afterall, I'm sure some of these guys have seen there buddies mangled in the same way.

Well if you look through the site starting from page 1 its obvious the captions are coming from the same person that sent the pics. If the site was an attempt to make them look bad I dont think the soldiers would have submitted over 1000 pics.

Well I've never been in a war or in the military but I am sure it changes you... Sure it fucks with your head.. I don't really think you can blame soldiers... but war itself. It's messy and and fucked up. It's going to change some of them for the better and some of them for the worse.

The pictures are disgusting btw... hard to look at... but I'm sure you get used to it after awhile... sadly... and to them those dead bodies are people that were trying to do the same to them.
