Mainstream on-line store commission question
 

If you were to get a percent of online sales (commission) type income for managing a foot and ankle type store what would you ask for? Basically to add products and market the site. This is a brand new site no sales yet. They sell shit like: Ankle Brace - $60, Birkenstocks - $150 to $250, Bunion Splint - $25, Cam Walkers - $150 to $200, Custom Orthotics - $350, Diabetic Shoes -$150, Fungal Nail Cream - $15, Heel Cream - $10, Heel Cushions $35.

I'm looking to expand into mainstream and this fell into my lap. Any thoughts from the highly recognized adult webmasters on GFY? Thanks

Mainstream pays shit.

Some as low as 3% and except for software I can not remember anything above 10%.

I earn some big bucks using Amazon Web Services.

Mainstream converts way better than adult, and the payout at the end is just as much or even more.

on the site owner site you could make big money with mainstream. As an affiliate your out of luck if your selling tangible stuff like shoes, electronics, hats etc since the owner only gets a $10-$30 markup most of the time.

Yeah, I convert very well with Amazon aswell.

Unfortunately, they pay per quarter.

So what would you ask for to make it worth your wild? 20%, 30% 50% of sales?
