that script is great.. the manual is very detailed i bet you can skip half that shit

i read most of the 2nd manual, got to the part about the invocation code, and I said fuck it. Does the script slow down the page load a lot? Remote w/ Javascript, Local, or just regular remote? hell I dunno

No problems with slowdowns....

Load the images into the SQL DB, that seems to keep things moving

Izz the install is ez, just follow the prompts. The prog itself can be a bit hard to navigate..... Just play for a while and it soon becomes clear

One tip is if u dont need zones dont use them, they are a real headache.... Use direct invocation instead

i hear ya, but with each project i do i set a certain budget, and with this project there isn't much room to have a coder involved unless i absolutely need one.

for now i'll be ok, nothing like challenging myself

i usually have them do it or have my host do it for me

LOL I've been told from a lot of admins that phpadsnew is a piece of shit and to avoid it at all costs, it might bring down your server if you get more than average traffic (and TGPs get A LOT!)

I did 1.3 mil ad impressions yesterday WITH geo ip on a virtual server

Not one problem.... and more stats than you know what to do with

Like any other script it will use the servers resourses.... Just work out if it is worth it

I have a feeling that an economical way to use phpAdsNew and GeoIp will be around soon... and it will increase your ratios dramaticly :winkwink:
