Yes, for less that $1500 for the body, you can't beat it. Be sure to get the battery grip and a fast memory card.

I've been shooting with the 20D for a few months now. Your question of "is it a decent camera for content?" tells me that you don't know WTF you are doing. If you did, you would not need to ask such a question.

It's a kick ass camera for contnet...BUT...It may be WAY overkil for your needs too. If I were only using it for "amateur" style content then I would never have spent that kind of money on it.

The real question you should be asking is if the Canon 20D is the right camera for your content needs.
