how much do you think my.com is worth?
About a month ago i spoke to the guy was gonna help him broker the name. He wants alot for it and will probably never get it. He had overs up to $440,000 for it. What do u think its worth?
|
tree fiddy.
|
way more then "tree fiddy" & way less then 440K
|
well i'm not sure what do you plan to use it for?
|
440 000 $ ?? That's ridiculous ! I'd say less than the half of this !
|
2 letter .com's are rare, and this is actually a word so that's even more rare.
I'd say $400K isn't bad... you'd have to ask Taboo or DomBuyer tho, they could tell you way more accurate. |

Minimum 6 figures. No maximum, depends on buyer. Offers in the $400,000+ range seem about right. Last year "ME.COM" sold for $460,000. Another nice 2 letter dot come, "MR.COM" went for just $125,000 last year. P.S. congrats on 1K ! |
My.com is a great domain.

He has it listed on GD for $750k - but I'd say the domain is worth about $150k-$275k. |
my.com would probably be a portal.
[email protected] emails Hosting my.com/user And full of ton of advertising like all other portals. Whats the traffic on that? |
he bought it for 500K? Too bad for him the bubble burst right after that lol. I think I'd never pay that kind of money for my.com... needless to say it's an excellent domainname but I'd rather diversify my investments than put 500K in one domainname.
I doubt he will ever get more than 500K back for it though. |
congrats on your 1k posts
|
Congrats on the 1000 posts!
|
I'd think with only a moderate investment my.com could be made to be worth a lot more.
I'd use it for domain and hosting sales, I think, and offer email addresses... as suggested above. Throw in a bit of TV advertising, you'd be a household word in minutes. |
Myspace.com should buy it... :)

You'd get much more $$$ if you spend another $500k on development.

Why the fuck did you ask people to find good domains for you then dumb fuck? Just another fool with alot of money. |
It's worth whatever it is worth to whoever buys it with a plan in mind to turn a profit.
It's obviously a decent domain and could have loads of uses. If someone has a biz plan/spreadsheet that can justify a price - why not? If they just want to "possess it" - hell.. I got load of domains I thought I needed to "possess" :-) |
I think it's worth 500-800k+ to the right bidder. It could be a huge money maker, something in the size of Yahoo. If I wanted to develop a site with personals, hosting, email, galleries, shopping, etc., and had a domain budget of a million dollars, I'd go nuts for the chance to buy 'my.com'.
|
bump for economy...hope u get what u want man :thumbsup
|
mid 6 figures and possible high six if he can grab a rich Net company to go for it.
|
about 150k right now.
problem is new extensions are being issued all the time, which depreciates the value of "coms" |
