I need hosting recommendations
 

Webmasters, I need hosting recommendations. The hosting we are using for a side project, a famous hosting in fact, has been down for several hours and had a bunch of problems last month. I need something stable, that won't be down like 3 or 4 times a month and can handle more than 3000 visits/day. Cuz seems like the current one can't handle that. :helpme

Sometimes hosts might not know how critical your site being up is (even though that shouldn't matter), but talking to them if you haven't already might be a way to straighten things out, might even be able to work out some free months to make up for their downtown; it could just be the server your on that's been having troubles (not an excuse though I know)..

Matt, when you invest into paid advertising to promote your site, and you get 6 hours of downtime that sucks, doesn't it? And that downtime is not the only one. You get another one, and another one..

I use http://www.powerstorm.net/ for all my sites, they are cheap, reliable, and 24 hour live support... can't beat that with a bat!
