yeah, I got some friends who no matter how little they make (minimum wage) they refuse to let me buy everything. but most of them are assholes and are waiting in line for the freebies :p I dont mind though.. I smoke dope wit my peeps all day, spread love its the brooklyn way! lol

I think this topic was on Oprah, just depends, if you're hanging with your close buds, yeah i would definitely spot them, but if they're just a bunch of losers, heck no.

Here in Germany its not a problem, my friends always pay for themselves. When I go back to Poland from time to time everyone EXPECTS me to pay for everything. As soon as the bills arrives someone is off to the bathroom, others have to suddenly call someone, etc. :2 cents:

perfect example:

i was in Cleveland, OH for Xmas, i went out 4 of my closest friends & 1 of their buddies...i bought 3 rounds of drinks for everyone BUT the guy i didnt know.

I'm always generous to friends, but if i dont know you, buy your own shit lol

I do it occasionally. But only for close friends.

When I used to go out with my ex and her best friend, drinks were always on me, even if I wasn't making significantly more than either of them. It just became a habit.

Sometimes I pay them, them later on the next round I get paid and so on...its all good

I take friends out to dinner, just because i like to eat in restaurants and they usually dont have money for it.

I am a generous person I don´t mind paying for some drinks. But I only buy for those that isn´t afraid to buy a round them selves. I don´t care if I buy 2 rounds for every round my friends buy but if someone just sits there taking the free drinks and never would pay himself I don´t buy for him again.

Any time I want to go out to eat I pretty much have to do the same thing. It gets pretty old after a while, though I've kind of accepted the fact that it isn't going to change anytime soon.

I'm really strange about things like that. I'll buy a pizza for $15 and get a little aggravated if everyone doesn't pitch in a couple bucks, and then I'll go spend $50-60 on a dinner and won't think anything of paying for everything. I guess I figure they can afford a couple bucks, why make me pay for it?

Oh, I buy my friends concert tickets, too. WTF?

And I have all kinds of cool toys in my house. Good food. Lots of video games. Several computers. I take my friends on trips and pay pretty much their whole way.

Yeah, most of the time I will.

What I really enjoy doing though is shaking for shots. I'll sit and shake for shots all night long. Doesn't matter if your my best buddy or I don't know you from squat, I'll shake with anybody. :thumbsup And usually I end up shaking all night long and have people drift in and out but have anywhere from 3-5 people shaking at a time.
