I told everyone that we had a gallery on The Hun overflow.

Well just seen the figures on the tracker.

So far 13k page views, and 1 sign up, which is good considering our bloody tour has a bug on it. :(

Getting it fixed ASAP and will make it up to affiliates who are sending traffic, because I think it's effecting conversions.

But no deluge of traffic in fact they are way behind Candy List and Wild Cherries.

1 signup is good then for that amount I think.

I don't know what overflow gives, but hun mainpage can give well over 100k/day. I assume overflow gives 40-50k? So if you keep that up, you'll definately cover your hosting expenses :thumbsup

Heh, you are doing about right Charly. Try to get that gallery pageview to clickthrough ratio down to 1 signup for every 10k tgp gal views. It's all in your ad copy and links. Play with it some more.

Although, it's still too early to tell since you only have 13k. At 60k you can tell what you need to do.

I think TGP's are amoung the stupidest things goin on the net.

1. Far better gallery but its linking to the warning page.

2. Your content is excellent but your tour is horrible. You need to get someone to work on it to get the site to convert to its full potential. The join page is the worst part - Its untidy and a struggle to find the join options. By the time surfers get that far they will be long gone. The reason that good designers are a little more money is because they know what they are doing.

Just my :2 cents: but we have been doing this for a lot of years :)

Hun Overflow traffic sucks. You won't get near the traffic you'd get to the main page.

Depends on the niche. We do better with a main listing but still do ok with Hum Overflow. :2 cents:

thats not suprising. you're in the overflow, you're not even in the real listings. 13k page views and sign up is pretty decent. I'd assume that most surfers in the overflow have already been through the regular listings and they're a tougher sell.

13k definitely isnt enough to test the traffic or your site.

indeed, your results don't seem to be that bad, you should also state how many 1st and 2nd page clicks you get so its easier to get a better idea of your results so far.

Charly, do yourself and favor and download Netscape and check out your site. It is near unsurfable with it. :)

What's wrong with Netscape, newb?

1 sale in 14 thousand gallery views isn't exactly good, but i've seen far worse results. 1 sale every 5000-8000 gallery views is pretty good for TGP traffic.

i havnt gotten many signups on the overflow yet...i was approved for the main page few days back but not on yet!

In my experience 1 sign up per 13K gallery views is very good for TheHun Overflow traffic !

Hope you make a lot of $$$ from the gallery.

The overflow converts like crap anyways. Don't expect too much...
