    Best/coolest hotel w/ suites down on Fremont st, Vegas..?

    anyone recommend which hotels down in the "old vegas" fremont area downtown are best, w/ nice suites maybe? have a friend who loves fremont and want to set something up nice for her... no clue whats down there though, or what the best places to check out are.

    any familiar w/ the area it'd be great if you chime in, thx all..!
    ...promise her a defamation, tell her where the rain will fall..

              thx friend, already checked out the golden nuggets site but was curious about some of the other, lesser-known options really... Main St Station actually caught my eye, you have stayed there before? nice place, w/in walking distance of all the action on Fremont..?

                  havnt stayed there but hung out a couple times and freemont is right there!

                      After Internext was over, my gf and I stayed at The Stratosphere. Was definately a great value!

                      Few shows (I checked out the topless vampire chick one called Bite), good 'get drunk' bar called Crazy Armadillo, classy (and expensive, but delicious!) Top-of-the-world restaurant, Rides 1200 feet in the air (closed due to bad weather when I was there ;/).....also a mall with quite a lot in it.

                      I would definately stay there again if I go back to Vegas.
