Hopefully most Iraqis are not bereft of "testicular fortitude" as you, and appreciate the opportunity for freedom after many years of living under a dictatorship.

Despite the predictions of gloom and doom from the elite media, and the despicable, drunkard Ted Kennedy, I predict a voter turnout of 60%+....
I wish the Iraqis well.

should be good

Slick 01-28-2005 09:10 PM

The thing is that I'd belive that the election is gonna be rigged and Bush is gonna have the person he wants in charge to win it no matter if the people vote that person in or not.

Oil will never be cheap again. We pay for it like good little sheep, and they are used to getting more for it. I doubt it will go lower.

Does anyone seriously expect a fair election result even if valid voters go to the polls? The US (and allies) have way to much money, time and political clout invested in this for a true election to be held. We all know the region is extremely unstable and that most old schoolers liked the existing way of life since it was comfortable and not forced upon them by a foriegn nation. I bet there will be no old school politicians on the ballet and the prefered US choice is elected. We all know that they old schoolers will be threatening voters and that there really isn't any security there yet meaning people should be afraid to vote freely. If this is true then the election must be fixed in order to allow the US to continue to control Iraq instead of it going back to it's old regiem. Maybe in five to ten years from now a true election could be held....

lol... no matter how you slice it... 1 vote will not change anything.. Whether the turn out is 60% or 25% .. the results should be about the same..

And oh btw. you really think the US will let another dictator or Terrrorist group take control of the country..? lol

Evil Chris 01-28-2005 10:16 PM

well, the curfew is now over.
I'm waiting for breaking stories on CNN.
