I never made it to the north-east of Holland, actually. Spent a week in Texel and then a week in Schreveningen in the summer of 91. Had a great time.

The beaches were cold, big and empty, the nightlife was dull and violent (one of the guys I was there with actually got run over by a police horse), and the babes... were Dutch. And, unfortunately, Dutch women tend to be kinda ugly :(
