ok , my nephew is coming over and he wants to see the first harry potter movie that came out.

what was the first film in the series?

was "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" the first or was it "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone"?

the movie is just to gay for me to remember

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. It's called the Sorcerer's Stone in the book, but they changed the name for the movie. Fanstatic books, I'm reading them all again now.

Yes...in the U.S they changed it from the Philosopher's Stone to Sorcerer's Stone. I read it was because it would have otherwise confused the american cinema-going public.

I have taken my son to see all three of the Harry Potter movies. I seriously didn't think I would enjoy them at all, but they were really good. :)
