Sponsors that don't have trials....
 

Can someone explain this to me:

Certain recurring sponsors refuse to have $3.95/$4.95/etc.. trials. They say that "it is proven the Webmaster does better without them." I am claiming bullshit on that. Why would a surfer pay $29.95/$39.95/etc. when the next site offers a cheap trial? Don't Webmasters benefit from the trial because:

1)They get paid on them
2)A good percentage of surfers don't cancel/forget to cancel and thus rebill.

Someone please explain.

I hate trials. If a surfer is into a site and is willing to whip out the CC then they shouldn't have a problem with 30 bucks.

Also, after 30 days they are WAY more likely to forget to cancel.

Some shitty sites do better with a trial but a Hot site that converts awesome will always do better for a webmaster without trials.

1 29.95 signup is worth the same as 10 2.95 signups and if the site is even half way shitty you will lose 7 of those rebills so what's the logic in that.
