If you have surround sound and want to watch it for the special effects
than I guess, but it was pretty retarded.

It was pretty lame and cheesy. Effects were ok. Horrid story.

watched it on the weekend and I did not really like it though. The effects were wiked though.

what? i liked it it! Its like an old school movie, nice effects and shit, just a normal alien/predator flick.. its cool.

it's the best film ever made. Take some aliens. Take some predators. Make them kill each other. WINNER.

Take $4.95 and toss it into the garbage can. You just spent that money better than if you were to rent A vs. P!!! And you saved yourself 2 hours to boot! :thumbsup

I'm an Alien fan and I was highly disappointed. The best part about all the other Alien movies was not knowing when they were going to come out and get you. You knew when they were coming in this one. It was pg-13 which should tell you something right there.

Aww man you guys are hard. I liked it. I'm a big sci fi fan so maybe I'm a bit biased.

It was A LOT better than I thought it would be. What the hell do you expect from some cheap ass "VS" movie that throws together two fanchises just to make a buck? Did you go watch 'Freddy vs Jason' expecting an academy award winner ?

I watched it yesterday. It's ok. Nothing to get excited about but it's ok.

Going in with low expectations helped me. I read the reviews then saw it in the theater. I was expecting the worst and got surprised. I actually liked it.

It was ok... it could of been great but they screwed it by trying to make it PG-13.

i bought these comics when i was a kid.

alien vs predator was played out in 80s when it came out.

i swear its silly to see people catch on to something thats 2 decades old and then try to revamp it.

Its where the money is... Star Wars, Star Trek, etc.

BTW Alien Vs Predator didn't come out til 1989. Predator the movie didn't come out til 87.

ive collected giger and alient stuff since i was young, (alien designs were around in 70s)

not even the comic world wanted this piece of shit to come out.

it was a horrible comic and it was even worst as hollywood invention.

i have artwork for The Aliens heads from 70s

in fact, the first sculpture as i think 79

im looking at sculptures right now of Alien Heads from 1966.

just because hollywood made movie in 1989 does not mean thats when the "aliens" were created.

Didn't say Alien came out in 89. I said Alien Vs Predator comic books first came out in 89 as 5 issues.

yes, i have those as well as the original ALIENS comic series.

i collected most of the alient stuff, even up to MUSIC OF THE SPHERES and many lines of the alien comics.

i have duplicate copies of all those alien runs.

had a buddy who actually ran a store. after we had Linsner (cry for dawn) and James o'barr come to shop and do signings, we did a huge 3 day everything in the room is $1 sale.

i spent like 500$ and bought all kinds of CRY FOR DAWN and the first original CROW and Sandman 1-50 x 2 and all alien runs, in fact, 2 of each of them.

i will never part, i never bought them for value, i bought comics for story line and fandom.

is it worth renting you ask? Hell NO!

This movie lives only on the name of the series and marketing of it, as a movie it sucks, it was made to be for Teens so byebye gore and stuff, plus it seems like they chopped alot of the movie to make it small..

I loved that flick. Can't wait till #2 comes out.
