Hah.. apparently this isn't your every day average 911...
"The entire car was built around a massive Buick 3.8L V6 which has been installed in the rear using custom engine mounts." Sick :thumbsup We used to run those engines in sandrails with nitrous :) |
nice car! i think you'll sell it with a good price ....
|
Very nice looking car. I see the bids are already over 3,000. I am sure it is going to go a good deal hire by the end of auction.

Geezuz.... youd have to have your own personal pet Smurf to work on that thing...
that 3.8L Buick motor looks like it was installed with a shoehorn. (damn I love them motors... so much potential) and somehow.. I dont see that 911 tranny or clutch hangin with the tourqe that 3.8L can deliver, but it would be fun while it lasted.. In about 1992 I converted a chevy S10 pickup that originally had a 2.8 L V6 with an intercooled 3.8L on steroids. We had NASCAR style suspension, brembo brakes (with custom dust covers so you could not see massive calipers) and a beefed up 6 speed in it. This truck was the ultimate sleeper, that is.. until you hit 3500rpms and the boost shot through the ceiling..... After that, it was bein' in a sprint car. It was all you could do to shift that 6 speed fast enough. zzzzzzzzooooooooooooooooooooommmmm Good Luck sellin her... Please do yourself a favor and dont take her out "For that Last Drive" :2 cents: :2 cents: BIG B |
