I used to lurk/read this board for 2 years before I even signed up/posted.

no, there's no fucking way you could keep up with all of this if you had to work another job

why do you think that there are so many similar threads between boards?

Lots of people lurk here and post like once a week or something

of course they do - i'm not sure what the multiple of lurkers to posters is but i'm sure it at least 10:1. some people just like to read boards, some don't have the time to hang out and post, others are shy and probably don't feel they have anything to offer.

i'm sure many just come here and gawk at GFY, the monkey house of the adult industry.

one board is all i can do, i know people who post on and read many boards.

I was watching TSS on Tech TV today, one of the chicks on the show has GFY bookmarked..

the other boards are filled with pussies or washed up webmasters, AWI is a good read, but GFY is the best.

From what I have read, I would rather chill on this board anyday.

so is it safe to say if i post here, most probably shouldnt post elsewhere since those people would come here to read it?

I personally simply lurked around for some years before actually posting. Guess many people are like that (and it makes sense).

GFY is a circus to be laughed at, but not taken seriously.
I post on other boards for biz.

i post on another board, and found GFY through it.

There are those that make big time bank that don't read GFY. No board is the absolute center for the online porn world. GFY is the bisggest I suspect. OK, little question about that. Many players look just on occasion.

Take web power for example. How involved in the boards are they?

That is why I said for biz do all the boards. If you are posting questions about the best way to get K-Y Jelly off your cat, GFY will probably come up with the answer for you.

hell yeah...just go the other boards and read a lot....a few even have cute nicknames for GFY....and almost every other board has at least one thread every day talking about a GFY thread...from a user that doesn't post here
