I still use it to pay off designers and stuff. Luka from Gablu.biz bailed on me so wanted to withdraw the cash from my account. Filled out the form and got an email that said:

An electronic funds transfer from your PayPal account to your bank account
was rejected today for this reason:

Invalid Bank Account Information

Ok, thats fucked up. I emailed them right back but haven't heard anything. The amazement was big today as the money was actually in my paypal account AND my bankaccount (the transaction they said failed). Fair enough, they might have screwed up. Just logged in and found my paypal account in negative ($60) due to fees for reversing the transaction (that went fine anyway).

Fuck paypal.. no way I'm restoring my balance! Has this happened to anyone here?

I got some weird email from paypal today asking me to re-verify all of my personal info... seemed a bit fishy

Its fake. Fill it in and you will find your account empty the next day.

Never reply to those or click the link its a scam,
Go to www.paypal.com and it will prompt you in your account menu if updating is required,
Better yet stay away from Paypal :thumbsup

I really like paypal myself. It's very easy to setup and operate or transfer funds. They really don't like adult industry though.

college girl, i got that the other day. on top of that its been over 2 weeks i've been dicking around with them to verify my account. they refused my checking account, but the douchebags have now made 2 sets of (2) deposits int he past few days. When I log in with the amounts that they deposited they say its wrong, and then lock up my checking, and say I need to send a bank statement from my bank! I was sooooo pissed today with the stupid AUTO REPLY's that dont answer shit, I wanted to say, FUCK YOU AND YOUR AUTO RESPONSE! But my luck, that email will get read by someone and they'll close my account. Oh well.

You need to call Paypal. The phishing stuff has been incredible lately.

Key is: don't keep more than a few hundred $ in your account at any one time.

Plus, funding your account from your bank account is a bad idea in so many ways. Be glad you got rejected.

You don't have to call PayPal when you get one of these scam mails, just forward it to [email protected]

If you ever want to actually SPEAK TO A HUMAN at paypal, go through the process of closing your account. After about 15 "Are you really sure" screens, you'll get to one that gives you a phone number with a human being on the end of it, whose job it is to try and talk you out of closing.

You might at least get a better response than sending email to their auto-reply customer service.
