It wouldn't have been my choice, but perhaps thats what you were going for.

This contest wasn't exactly a matter of a better and more eye candy entry, but more something that's really brandable. Ofcourse I can do better, but I made the decision to keep it this simple.

I've seen that logo when it was posted, like I already said back then - its an excellent logo, it would be really hard, if not impossible, to create a better one.

In my 20 years in this business, its the things I've kept simple that have made the most money.

Sure it could be done way more elaborately, but this is what we were looking for. Nice and easy on the eyes. If you look at the most recognizable logos in the world most of them are plain jane and that's why they work so well.

Looks pretty average to me, maybe it's just my screen but the orange thing looks all rooted to me, and as for the pink, well it looks gay alright. I'm surprised that was the winner but I have seen some very nice work by PP.
