i like dell
all depends on what you want in it. Big or small etc?
I love my Sager that is almost a year old now. It is awesome, but heavy. |
Apple. Without a doubt.
I have been looking at Dell a lot ..
Thanks everyone for your input |
SONY Vaio, it rocks :thumbsup
Dell are goods but toshibas are better in laptops!!!

If you can afford it get a IBM they are not cheap tho.
I got a dell not a bad laptop for the $$$ but nowhere near a IBM in quality. |
I got an HP ZD7000 series a month ago. It has the 17inch HD wide screen. I've been very happy with it. Our company has bought 4 of these.
i agree, i'd go with a dell, i love mine, and if/when i get a new laptop i'm definately getting another one
i got a dell 700M
it's so small...i love it |
zd7000 good laptop. if you leave this almost 4kg at office every time. it's not a travel variant. and one minus - it's not Pentium mobile.
I bougth zx5000 three month from at hp shopping. - P4 3.2HT, 1 gig ram, 60gb, 15.4 wide screen 1920x1200 (!!) dvd-rw, wifi, bluetooth, video 128mb. good Harman/kardon sound.good laptop but very heavy |
Toshiba makes the best laptops... always have. I hate my Dell and have had nothing but problems with it and forget about calling tech support.
dell is cheaper but if money doesnt matter go with sony?
I would say Apple.
forget to tell - this laptop cost me $2200.
Sony Vaio or IBM.
One more vote for Dell
I've owned several IBMs and few dells. I find IBMs to be the best. Their
support tends to be superior to Dells, at least in my experience. I just picked up the IBM X40 as my latest and its sweet for travel. Only 2.6 lbs. - jpoker |
Apple, of course. :thumbsup
Sony Vaio or an Apple :thumbsup
I have a toshiba. I'm happy about it but I think the keyboard is crappy.
better than toshiba is only Sony Vaio. |
I was going to get a DELL, but I did not, and here is why.
Dell makes a great product, and no one will say different. But. IF you have the in home service, you may wait for days for someone to come and service it. Providing you paid the extra 300= for the in home service. If not, you have to box it up and ship it to them. And that takes time. I ended up going with HP. they can be serviced for the most part at Best Buy, and I also saved myself about 800$. |
Apple Powerbook!
had a vaio for a while, very reliable computer
<--Sony Vaio
Best 2,000.00 ever spent |
Just got a new S360 Vaio from the Fed Ex guy today!
IBM IBM IBM<<<<<<<<<<<<Remember!
dell is my favorite
Dell has not done me wrong
i like dells i know alot of people don't but i think they are nice and cost effective
Wow thanks guys :thumbsup
Love my Dell and my new Compaq
Dell makes quality shit..reasonably priced also
Hey there,
I've been using them for a while, first one was a 100mhz ;) I tried alot of brands, and it comes down to: IBM if you have the money, Toshiba if you have a limited budget. :thumbsup |
apple is great, but not for our line of work. too many things will not work on it. and dont start screaming people that it will, you KNOW that it wont.
dell and ibm make shit that does not break. but im really starting to dig the zd700 HP laptop that i got. its big, but its nice |
When it comes to laptops you cant beat the IBM thinkpads, best on the market and almost indestructable.
