Ntsc - Pal
My video converter wants to know how to convert the video files in NTSC or PAL...
Now what does this mean? If I use PAL settings can people from USA see that video? Can someone please explain this to me? |
No, PAL is for European machines. We use NTSC here.

Good question. Though... I have a ton of movie files that are encoded in PAL and when I try to make dvd;s out of them it says they need to be in NTSC format to burn. So how do I convert them?

On the other hand, most European producers are adopting ( sadly ) NTSC, because a lot of stand alone units do read and transcode NTSC. :2 cents: |
dude make it pal, you'll get a better resolution, pal is 768x576
for web, dvd, personal videos... computer related videos in general you don't care if it's pal or ntsc, everyone can see them. |
all the dvd players can read ntsc plus the local system.
so, make it in ntsc , that its the standard format all over the world. |
