What can anyone tell me about an Isuzu
...Tropper. A neighbor has one for sale. 1988...six cylinder...4X4 standard transmission...looks good...runs good...price is right. I don't want to take my new Tacoma 4X4 into the rough country.

Not sure, I have a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo, its great. (It's the exact same thing as a Honda Passport)
:thumbsup |
That should have been Trooper.

All I can say is...
It is to the auto industry, as you are to life. |
It's a great ride. Get a red one. :thumbsup

There are hundreds of them around here. Very reliable and last forever. Isuzu is very closely tied to Subaru and some of the diesel versions use Mercedes engines. :2 cents:

Content Producer, I have a grey 1994, my brother loved it so much he bought a 95 in black 4 door auto version that lasted 3 months and then the engine seized up. Mine is the 2 door, 5 speed, version. I CANT STAND auto! I love mine though, specially with the oversized tires. For some reason when I'm in the car, I just pass people, in the rodeo, I get road rage and think "move you stupid bitch, I have a brush guard and I'm NOT afraid to use it!" lol
