Have you ever reached THAT fork in the road?

Where you had a decision to make and both are life changing? One is to stay on your current path and the other to take a risk and head into uncharted territory?

If so, which did you choose and what was the outcome?

Sly 01-26-2005 05:43 PM

I took the road less traveled. Best decision I've EVER made.

Don't do it if you're afraid, only if you're excited to see what's waiting for you on the other side.

Furious_Male 01-26-2005 05:45 PM

I prefer the road less traveled.

Every God damn day.

I usually take the risk path...And I'm still here.

It's not always easy.

Jace 01-26-2005 05:48 PM

i always take the risk path, you can't be happy always wondering what would have happend....

quiet 01-26-2005 05:49 PM

i'm on the verge of making the biggest, most profound change to my life since i started in this business.

slapass 01-26-2005 05:50 PM

Well no one always takes teh risk path or they would never show up at awork but over all life changing decisions are best if they have more potential.

Quiet why don't you sell half of your site to Marc D and really retire while he spins up the sales with his huge affiliate force?

subsitute Marc D for any other big trustworthy program owner.

The only problem is that the path that I'm currently following provides me with the finer things in life and the alternate path can possibly provide much, much more...however (there's always a however), there is also a possibility of absolute failure with not a lot to fall back on.

I keep telling myself that I built it once, I can build it again, but my mind just won't let me believe it.

slapass 01-26-2005 06:06 PM

no matter how old you are go for the greater potential. Spectacular failure beats teh fuck out of the same 'o same 'o.

crockett 01-26-2005 06:08 PM

man I've been traveling on the bumpy road for so long my shocks are worn out.. :helpme

BitterPen 01-26-2005 06:08 PM

In 30 years, will you be disappointed that you didn't take the risk?? That is the question I ask myself.

RedShoe 01-26-2005 06:10 PM

Yes I decided on the life of a professional motorcyle road racer and entered my first race. I crashed on the first turn of the first lap at 110 MPH and spent 18 months in a cast.

That aside, I have never heard of a dying soul who wished on his deathbed for more money, more security, or more stuff. It doesn't work that way. So I take every chance I get, within reason. I don't regret the motorcyle decsion, it makes good cocktail party conversation to explain why I still limp sometimes, even though it turned out I obviously sucked at it.

Babagirls 01-26-2005 06:46 PM

im actually at that 'fork in the road' right now. i'll let you know what happens in about a month & half.

pxxx 01-26-2005 06:47 PM

That happened to me a lot.

been there. Life is full of decision, I wish you luck on yours :thumbsup

CET 01-26-2005 06:53 PM

Been there, took the road less traveled, I'm still alive and kicking, and I have always become a better person for my decisions. The few times I played it safe, I regretted it almost immediately.
