Which is your favorite show?

I perfer the florida show less spread out and I love the Diplomat on the beach

south beach for sure!

Florida....the Diplomat is a much more relaxed theme :thumbsup

and the travel time for me............none!!! :winkwink:

I prefer being drunk 24/7 and not remembering any deals in vegas

I prefer the city of Las Vegas over the state of Florida for my own free time, but for convention purposes, I much prefer the Florida show.

I love the Flordia show, much more relaxed, I love the beach and the pool and it's a lot less spread out and travelling to Flordia is easier for me.

I always love going to Vegas.. but the show is a lot harder and wears me out more.

They are both fun, but I sweat my ass off in Florida in August. Its hard to breath its so humid. Plus, the parties are better at Vegas.

I don't get sick at the Florida show, also way easier to find people.

If I had to choose between the 2 I would say Florida, since I am a floridian... But I would have to honestly say neither, due to the fact I love the small shows!! Much more gets done!

I absolutely hate the heat and humidity in Florida, but I like that everyone stays in the same hotel as the show. It's much more intimate, better chance of making deals while hanging out in the hotel lobby or out by the pool. Vegas is great but a little too spread out to be as productive.

It all comes down to what your goals for the show are. Are you there to party your ass off and have fun? Or are you there to work?

they both have their own perks. vegas theres more shit to do and 100x more places to eat within walking distance. florida the weather is better and the hotel has an awesome pool.

oh yeah good point, in florida pretty much everyone at the hotel is there for the show.

I haven't been to either yet. But already I prefer Florida because we can drive there. :)
I hate the heat though, so I'll probably stay inside the whole time. lol

Florida is the place to be! Everyone staying in the same hotel as the show helps alot for business. Plus there are tons of places to eat and drink in the area. 30 mins from South Beach. 5 mins from Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Same as Vegas only there a beach! FUN FUN FUN :thumbsup

It is nice to hear the comments, this is something we need in order to improve each show for all of you.
BTW, Florida Internext 2005, we changed the format a bit, NO BOOTHS REQUIRED for sponsorship of the show...:)
If you need to do a booth in order to present your product then of course you can still do so, changed it to demonstration pavilion along with a lot of other options to sponsor this time around. We want you to be creative, within reason, and if the hotel and we approve it then you got it.
Due to the different format and more details on what we will have available to sponsor it is taking a bit more fine tuning, should be ready on the website within the next two weeks. In the mean time please send your thoughts and ideas for sponsorship opportunities as well.

florida show rocks

I not a fan of vegas

above, plus:
1- real close to my studio and home
2- weather is MUCH better
3- easier to find people in the lobby
4- less of a HIKE to the show floor

i've only been to internext in Florida. i love how everyone is at the same hotel (well, mostly everyone) so its nice to get drunk & just take an elevator back up to the room lol

its also very intimate, you tend to see everyone several times, better chances of getting to know people & doing some good biz.

Florida. I find myself being much more comfortable there, and it's much easier not only to find whomever you were looking to find but also get to the show itself without having to walk forty miles. Florida ROCKS.

for business - small shows (florida and phoenix) I just wish florida wasn't in august, my gawd its humid!
for partying with occasional biz thrown in for tax deductions - VEGAS!!!!

In Vegas they serve alcohol 24/7
In Ft Lauderdale they stop at 4am (Some places at 2am)
Makes for more after hour parties in rooms :glugglug

I'll take Florida anytime for anything.

choosing from those two I like Vegas much better. More to do, better parties and not so isolated.

had a lot more fun & did a lot more business in vegas than I did in miami.
Also in Vegas I won more money lol

Vegas to me is alot more fun, but I like all the lights and stuff.

Def more people in Vegas But you get to KNOW more people in FLA all you have to do is hang in the Lobby or out by the pool and meet 100 people. I enjoyed both BUT DAM I was sore from all that freakin walkin in Vegas

Not to mention, Cirque du Noir doesn't happen in Vegas. :thumbsup
