Generating traffic.
 

"What are better ways of generating productive traffic to my site?"

This was the question that I asked myself while I was on my way to work today. Submitting free sites/tgps is traffic but its generally traffic looking for free porn, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you convert that traffic.

One of the answers that I came up with on my way to work was search engines, which do deliver very good traffic but you can't really control the search engines and you can't get instant gratification (using white hat seo).

Then I thought to myself, trading traffic.

I've never really been big on trading traffic for two reasons:
A) I've never had what I thought was enough to trade with anyone and
B) I have never had anyone in walmart tell me to go down the street to kmart.


The best thing that I could come up with on my way to work was something that Q posted on another board, "if you build it they will come." Which makes the most sense to me but once again requires time.

Patience is a virtue and hard work pays off BUT what do you do in the mean time?

Another answer that came to me is to give away tons of free porn.

Anyway this was my question that I asked myself today and I figured that this would be a good question to ask the board.

I used to spam back in the day when I was a "leet" hacker on aol with a spammer that I made with vb. Not really something that I want to do now though.
