Playboy Enterprises is looking for an experienced adult online superstar to join its online team. Based in LA, this position will be responsible for driving sales and retention for Playboy's subscription and online VOD businesses. The job is with Playboy itself, not PlayboyCash, but this person will work closely with the PlayboyCash/Adult.com team on the launch of PlayboyCash 3.0 and beyond.

Playboy's pay sites include CyberClub, PlayboyNet, Playboy TV Jukebox, Naughty Amateur Home Videos and Playboy Daily. Playboy also has a VOD product and multiple pay sites and VOD services under the Spice brand.

Playboy is looking for someone that is smart and entrepreneurial with excellent direct response fundamentals -- but who is also comfortable functioning in a corporate environment. For our part, we'll give you the tools to get the job done, including the marketing power of most recognizable content brand in the world.

PLAYBOY.COM - PLAYBOY ENTERTAINMENT GROUP

Vice President of Customer Acquisition and Retention- Subscriptions & VOD

Based in LA, this senior position is responsible for the business strategy and execution to drive membership growth and retention across Playboy's online subscription and (Video On Demand) VOD businesses. This position includes full revenue and P&L responsibility and this person will need to effectively manage ROI of marketing campaigns.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Develop and update marketing plan and program strategy through a combination of Playboy.com's organic type-in traffic, partnerships and opt-in email. Maximize value of Playboy's in-house customer service and member outreach programs to drive retention and reacquisition of members. Work closely with Adult.com to maximize impact of the PlayboyCash affiliate program.

2. Develop quarterly acquisition, promotions, and offer testing plans, refining overall direct response and relationship marketing approaches.

3. Develop outbound communications and promotions for daily, weekly, monthly distribution to opt-in email recipients and other participants.

4. Partner with creative teams to create editorial content for new products and for improving retention in existing products.

5. Identify product and industry trends to develop strategy around new products and tactics

6. Develop creative concepts and manage efforts to create the most effective copy, messages, and voice for all of our outbound communications and various parallel promotions on web site(s).

7. Develop strategies and follow through on initiatives relating to, search engine optimization, affiliate and partnership marketing, loyalty programs and CRM management.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Requires a minimum of 7 years of online customer acquisition and retention experience.

Experience with subscription, loyalty and direct marketing is essential. Adult experience not required but helpful.

Prior experience developing and presenting direct response marketing programs that identify core test elements and alignment with prioritized business objectives.

Experience developing SEO plans, media buying plans, Google Adwords, and prior experience working with leading search portals

Strong knowledge of acquisition methods, CRM techniques and online marketing tactics and metrics, preferably in the subscription arena.


Some travel required.

They forgot to mention familiarity with exhisting and new internet technologies regarding communications
Often that is the forefront of the internets nature and for the most part where the money is.

If its 6 figures I would be interested and more than qualified, but I doubt they could handle opinionated successful white trash like me.

seriousley, I see it as a abit hard to find this person on GFY since with those qualitys and that experience he is probably a program owner or already pushing $30k+ a month......

That's too much work. Plus the playboy people are too tightassed I heard. I was taking a piss next to this dude one time in florida who worked with the "spice" side of playboy and he was telling me how the playboy people look down their noses at the spice people even though the hardcore side was the more profitable side and the side that was keeping Playboy in business.

Holla at me when Hustler calls. I might be willing to work on a consultant basis with them.

Yep, I've heard dealing with playboy execs are a pain in the ass.

That 7 years experience thing is going to be interesting. Most of the people here would be about 12 when they started to have that much time in.

however being my own boss the last couple of years and having complete autonomy- it may be hard to go back to the working world-

I did it with Reynolds Metals Company and AT&T and corporate America can be a bitch
