Adobe Photoshop gurus...one question!
 
Can I make a quick batch file that will go through all the images in a directory and add a certain filter to them...

fore example lets say I have 10 images in a directory and I wanna add the Sharpen fileter to all of them... how do i make a quick batch file using adobe to do achieve this???

just make the action, then chose to do a batch, and select that directory

dont wanna sound like a noob but buy making the action you mean

yes, but first:

Window > Actions

Click the New Action button

Name it, then hit Record.

Do all the things you want to do to the other photos.

Click the Stop button on the Actions pallette.



File > Automate > Batch
Select the Directory, the appropriate Action, and the Output Settings and Go for it :)

basically open your actions panel and select the record button, then go through all the steps you would do for the filter you want, even closing and saving the file....then hit stop on the action panel

then go to file>batch (i think) and follow the instructions

yeah i just figured it out, i could see the action window!

This is sweet and cuts work into half!
