Why do sponsors resell my email?!
 

I use a unique email for all the sponsor I signup for. This email has never been on a website and I only use it for sponsors. Well now im getting like 10+ spam emails a day to this email?! Go Fuck Yourself :321GFY

Hell more people guess some of my email addresses each day than that.

I do the same thing, an exclusive email addresses for each sponsor.

It amazes me how outspoken some of these sponsors are about spam, in yet...

how else can the afford to pay you up to $40 on a 'soon to be member' they must do what it takes to earn a nickel

Lets start naming names... I use the same unique system and get daily, non-webmaster related spams from:

platinumbucks
adultplex

Have you considered that people may be adding words like 'ccbill' or 'topbucks' (or whatever) to their dictionary attacks?

[email protected] is not a unique address...

no shit i know. Plus if someone was fishing for emails, I would still see because all weird emails@domain go to a certain email box I have. These are emails the sponsors are reseliing and spamming

We do not sell any webmaster list. We have rented our list oh 1 year ago to Consumption Junction for a webmaster mailing.

Please do not include our name in any thread that we sell our webmaster list.

Why on earth would a company my size do something like that.

Kills me when small program owners come on GFY and bash other companies thinking this will help their sales.

You didnt resell your webmasters list but you, rented it out so we can get spammed? How do you know what CJ did with that list, and didnt "rent" it out also?
BTW i have nothing against platinum, good program.

Thats what i was thinking, those lists are gold....why let someone else, namely a competitor have them?
