i'm unfamiliar with wires. how long does a wire take to show in one's account?

When we pay it use to take up to 2 days in europe and up to 4 days to US.

Some banks have special rules = longer time

basically i've sent and received lots of wires, and this question cannot really be answered, it's like asking how much sales will i get when i send 1000 hits to a sponsor, basically with wires, it depends on the bank, it depends on the time the wire was sent, it depends on the number of intermediary banks etc

especially international wires are a pain in the ass

in general, the wire banking system is still left in the 80's of the XX century it seems, i have no idea why they cannot fasten thinks and make the wires arrive immediately to you, that would be awesome for sure

It takes 2 days when I send a wire from Australia to my partner in Atlanta.

major banks 48 hrs max, most banks have it in 48 hrs but keep the wire on a in between account to verify its ok

I deal with wires all the time. Usually from US or Canada and they always arrive the same day or the next business day if they are done late in the day.

If they take longer it's because the work order is sitting on somebodies desk instead of getting processed...That or somebody screwed up.

Also...People tend to use the same type of bullshit as "the check is in the mail" and tell you that the wire was sent....even 2 weeks after but they never have the tracking number.....Or whatever it's called. If this happens...You've been stroked....And not in the fun/happy way.

Some people are simply wire challenged.

If the wire is sent out correctly, you should get a tracking number. And, the wire should arrive that day or the day after. Any wire that takes longer than six days isn't coming.

Sometimes, Germany, Belgium and the Nederlands take up to six days. At least for me.

My Verotel wires arrive in my bank account about 12 hours after the payout notification email. From EU to AU. I think that's an exceptional case though, all other international wires I've received have taken 24-48 hours... or longer

Banks using the USA federal wire return system have instant wires! All larger banks use this. If it takes 24-48 hours then bank is not actualy sending the wire until then.

I've had wires come in same day or the following day. Offshore can take 2 to 3 days typically to credit.

damn! I'm in canada and I receive wires from the US every 2 weeks..and it usually takes a couple of hour...never took more than that!!! actually I never even received it the next day...always the same day...
