no one's going to guess, but I wouldn't think it would be an outrageous price.. I can't think anyone would pay too much when it's not the .com espically when the type in traffic will go to the .com. Unless they owned the .com already.

It's not a bad .net at all, so I'm sure if you sold it, it was to someone that had a plan for that name. So they were probably willing to spend a little more than a normal .net would bring.

I think the former owner also owned ann.net so he might have been funneling traffic to one or the other.

I'd maybe pay ~$100-$200 for it because it seems like it may get some typos from the japanese people...There are better domains dropping every day.
To the right buyer it may be worth in the $800-$1000 range

Well, this is an interesting twist: The .com is not in use, so you could in theory swoop down and buy both if you were branding it, which is nice. Large companies usually like to do that.

Still, lots of companies DON'T care what happens to the .net and will brand on the .com only, which will inevitably toss the .net some new residual traffic, increasing its value.

Additionally, because the .com is not in use, a company could just brand under the .net, lose traffic to the .com, but then establish prior use preventing any later WIPO action.

Either way, the fact the .com is not in use will work in my favor.

i'd say it worth today around 2K + , i mean for reseller, but you paid for this domain around $600-1K - no more than 1K i think.
For the end user - it's solid name and can be easily sold for 10K for sure
