help me.. LOL i need to make rice and it needs to be done withen the hour.. every time i make it it's always overcooked, undercooked, or burnt lol.. i cook everything and do well, but rice is my downfall.. anyone got any good tips or tricks? Pwease

Yes -
put three cups of water to onec up of rice and cook to consumption. (only add rice AFTER water has boiled not b4)
Takes about 3 minutes

- if you add a squeeze of lemon juice the rice won't clump together.


I worked in Indian temples cookign for 300 people a meal - and that's the way we used to do it.

Minute Rice is your friend. Equal parts water and rice. Any temperature water is fine. Toss it on the stove and stir once in a while. Once you dont have water standing at the bottom of the rice anyone, its done!!

3 cups water 2 cups rice boil water add rice cook for about 5 min , then turn off add butter and some lemon or lime place lid on and leave for 10 min. serve
