Grannypictures... why am I not surprised (?)
Haven't submitted to them in a long time, thought I'd shoot them one of my latest galleries (that are getting listed nearly everywhere now) and guess what? Yup, you guessed it....
"Sorry... www8.smutserver.com is blacklisted" I will never understand why other tgp owners feel the need to blacklist smutserver when they are without question the BEST freehost on the net, period. Will you people please blacklist the ACCOUNT and not the entire freeshost please?? I don't know who owns or runs this tgp, but if anyone here does know this person can you let them know about this thread? My fellow tgp owners, please stop blacklisting entire freehosts and start blacklisting the individual user accounts that you find cheating. I do it, and it isn't all that difficult. (I use tgpm). cdsmith, I don't think it is all about the quality of smutserver. Tgp's are getting alot of submissions from paid hosting accounts that's why they try to maximize their blacklists to only get super clean galleries.
I even blacklist the people who submits over used pictures, or has a really bad lay out. I get 5 times more submissions than i link from my website and beleive me it really takes so much time to review those galleries. SO, the owner of granny pictures might blacklisted the smutserver just because they tried to minimize the galleries that can pass the requirements. I know it sounds unfair, but with all those galleries waiting at the database it is sometimes necessary. |
Then they should say "no freehosts" in their rules.

galleries come a dime a dozen, and to be blunt, when we are doing reviews or our reviewers are doing reviews, and their computer locks up, in most instances, their first reaction is to BAN the FUCK out of whoever that is that caused that, you don't care, it is quick retribution and at least you know there's no way that freeserver culprit will do that to you again, at least on that freehost...
I guess it's a good thing Bush isnt a TGP owner, he would have gotten pissed on Sep 11th and nuke the whole middle east... I do a lot of gallery reviews too, being a tgp owner myself. My browser has never "locked up" from a smutserver gallery, but as I said earlier if the submitted page is full of popups and shit I ban the ACCOUNT, not the entire freehost.
However, I agree that we should send an armed contingent of TGP owners and gallery reviewers to afghanistan. there's noway a pc to be locked by a gallery hosted on smutserver. The only reason I think www8 is blacklisted in some tgps and is understandable is because for a long period thumbs on smutserver and photos came broken (without causing 404, actually i dont even remember how smutserver's 404 is + it's tested that it doesn't redirect not eve 0.1% of traffic) and the surfer/webmaster had to refresh. Now this problem is solved and i think if you politely ask from a tgp owner to check it,i think he'll unban smutserver.

Yeah, SmutServer is the most honest free host out there. Fast, small ads... even the 404 is clean.
I remember the broken thumbs on galleries, which lead to smutserver being banned at a lot of places. |
isnīt it just a fact that a lot of cheaters use smutserver, terra, ... to steal traffic, ...
i havenīt seen cheaters on bestsexhost for example.. am i wrong.. donīt think so its not the freehosts admin fault that they are blacklisted (unless they set popups, huge ads, del some accounts to get 404 traffic or whatever) Trax |

As for the broken images problem, that is largely a thing of the past for smutservers. I have sites located on www4, 5, 7 and 8, and they are all now fast as sin (and twice as deadly). There is no good reason to have them on your blacklist. Please, if you run a tgp and have smutserver blacklisted, consider un-banning them now.
