A few moments ago, Herb (the roach's) wife gave birth to a baby roach. It's kinda hard to tell this early on, but I think it's a girl. Her carapace (the helmet on the back of her head) seems really smooth. Boys have two horns and I think at that age they are noticeable, but I don't see them on her.

The only difference between you and me when it comes to roaches is, I keep mine in a cage, you let yours run around free in the house. And yes, they are now my pets. They're more than pets... they're family.

It became a hobby after meeting with a bug specialist when doing research.

Setthewoldonfire, naw man. Those are the same ones. They just had 2 babies this morning. Weird thing is, they come out white but turn black in just a couple of hours. I didn't know it happened that fast.

Just make sure the cage is locked when I'm there.

I used to have roaches in the house I used to live in. I armed myself with a can of WD-40 and a lighter and had myself a roach BBQ.
