The problem with banks ...
 

A man walks into a bank,yells at the old lady at the teller window, he needs to open a "fuckin bank account". She says to the man, "Sir you are very rude!", and that she dont apprieciate being spoken to in that manner, and could he please use another tone of voice.

The man agains states he needs to open a "fuckin bank account". The old woman storms off her post, and runs to the bank manager with her complaint.

She tells the bank manager how this foul-mouthed man had come into the bank, cursing and swearing, and using the f-word, and that she found the man very rude. Also she did not want to serve him,and felt that the manager himself had better deal with him instead.

The bank manager immediately approached the man and asked what the problem was. The man again stated that for the third time, "I need to open a fuckin bank account!". Well the manager flipped. "YOU CANNOT COME IN HERE TALKING TO ME AND MY STAFF LIKE THAT ... USING FOUL LANGUAGE AND CARRYING ON AND ON !! JUST WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ?!?"

The man replied. "Look ... I just won 8 million dollars, and now i need to open a fucking bank account..."

It's unbelievable when they charge for putting money INTO an account, but I get that.

Costs me $120+ per month to cash my US$ checks, $35 for a wire transfer out and $15 for money coming in by electronic transfer.

Fucking thieves.

Yes. FUCK BANKS! They charge $35 for a wire transfer out , $40 to cash my 1 US$ check. And they are very slow too! I think they are really expensive no all the countries.

Wow, my bank charges me $20 for outgoing wire transfers, and no charges for receiving wire transfers.

My bank charges $15 per USA/Canada check. That's not bad.

yeah ... I certainly would not be dealing with any banks that charged ME to receive wies ...

I am a credit union member. Slightly different from banks. I "buy" shares in the credit union, which allow me (as an owner) to attend semi-annual meetings to vote on any changes to services, fees, etc.

I currently own $1100 in shares, which also allows me instant approval of loans of up to 10 times the amount of my shares ($11,000). I have UNLIMITED deposits and withdrawls, and no monthly maintenence fees. I can get Canadian or US money orders for $1.00 (plus exchange rate if applicable)

Hell ... the credit union PAYS ME $0.05 for each cheque I write, and when I run out of cheques, they send me basic personalized cheques(box of 4x50 cheques) for FREE.

I would suggest anybody that has a beef with their bank to check into credit union requirements in your area. I have dealt with the Credit Union for 8 years now, and do not miss my bank at all !! http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/biggrin.gif

(PS- the money you invest in shares earns interest at GIC rates)

banks are complete bullshit!

Last time my bank billed me for $62.50 to cash a $700 check !!! That was the limit. They will receive a nice letter from me soon. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/biggrin.gif

I wire transferred 5K with my bank and they never charged me a damn nickel. I love my bank.

I only use Bank of America because the ATM's are all over the fucking country... Also I can deposit a stack of checks in the ATM immediately after I get them in the mail.

And I still need ATM's for cash... A lot of places still only take cash. Especially those very cool restuarants that prefer to say "fuck you" to the credit companies.

What would be cool would be an online bank -- w/ some kind of PO Box -- so I could have all my checks mailed directly to the bank and have them deposit the shit for me! I will look into this now!

Bank of America only doesn't have a bank office (for "normal" customers) in NY. That's what I found out when I was there. Nearest BoA office was in Washington DC ...

Bank Of America sucks they charge to many fees . I agree with Hungryman credit unions are the way to go . They pay you to be a member not like B O A that nickle and dimes you to death !
