What did you actually want to be doing?
 

At this point in your life, what did you always think you would be doing when you were younger? Even 5 years ago what did you see yourself doing?

I thought I would be in the Army.

I thought I wanted to teach, but what I do now is more fun. I still get to discuss ideas (semi-teaching, mostly learning) via my free traffic blog http://justtraffic.blogspot.com

Bartending.

I have always wanted to be a bartender, I know almost all the drink mixes and even some of the harder ones that are on fire:) Even once in a while practicebottle tossing and flipping but it upsets the wife.

ive been interested in computers for a long time..

I thought I'd be in Hollywood. :1orglaugh

since I was 17 i have always wanted to be a big name dj...i had it going good for a while before I fucked up my life a while back
I am working on getting there again now

always been interested in computers worked in the IT industry for 7 years before adult still do some.

Honestly, I was considering doing this as long as ten years ago... when I first ran across a links list.

I figured I'd be doing something in computers, probably programming. I also thought I'd be in university. And I thought I'd be married or engaged to my high school sweetheart.

That's what I was thinking 5 years ago.

I wanted to produce animated superhero movies, like the Incredibles. But I have no talent for that or the patience or connections, etc so I gave it up and am content with just watching what others produce.

Interesting.. that would be a neat line of work but you need extreme creativity and talent.

16-17 - nothing
18-20 politician, official, working in diplomacy etc
21 - internet entrepreneur
22 - started part time in adult

on my pre-marriage and pre-England path I would have been a couple years into working at a newspaper by now. Probably living in the middle of nowhere working for the bumfuck gazette.

wanted to be a drunk poet, but still have plenty of time for that

6-12 - researcher or something like that.
13-16 - working with websites, mainstream sites.
17 - Starting with adult websites.

When I was younger I wanted to be a meteorologist. I went to school for physics. I taught high school for a year and then I applied for and received a job with Dean Witter. At about the same time I had started some adult sites which started to take off so I turned down the job. Nine years in porn now.
