i don't know if i'd laugh or brag about sponsers that put money in your pocket and allow you to throw the players ball standing out in cold and not being ushered in. :2 cents:

Why would I be happy to see a sponsor standing outside? I thought my sponsor gave a great interview to my camera guy, so why not give extra exposure to them?

That's a weird response from you Sleazy. I put footage out there showing what happened. I'm not sugar coating anything or laughing at anyone who stood outside.

At the beginning of the evening everyone stood outside because the venue wouldn't let anyone inside, everyone equal at that point.

I was commenting on the how i saw the thread being portrayed, cause i didn't see that line up as being all that pretty. :2 cents:

IF I had sponsored, and people I gave passes to, had to wait outside, I would have flipped.

I gave 2 sponsor passes I had to someone that really wanted to go, but those people called my from a big ass line saying the sponsor passes were no good.

I was embarrassed for the sponsor, to have his vip passes, treated like that.

I wouldnt want my guests, who were important enough to my biz that I gave them passes, forced to wait in any line.

Thats just my 2cents..

i agree - the ball itself went very well and I give D-money credit for that after the door but with the door handled the way it was handled I'd EXPECT some more humility about that situation from him. Fuckups happen, but humility is expected when something screws up to THAT degree.

I wouldn't be too impressed if I handed him 1000's of dollars and then was told I was 'equal' like everyone else in vegas.

and passing the buck and saying 'the security, the venue, " really doesn't cut it.


the key word I'm highlighting here is HUMILITY on that point. and i didn't even see that in his response in this thread.

I just showed up blacked out drunk at 2am (I think) and got in fine. I didn't even notice there was anyone on stage, just kb's table and a bunch of hoodlums

In my opinion the event wouldn't have worked out so smoothly if the staff and security would have been humble to specific people. In an event such as the Players Ball, there had to be order in the way people were ushered into the venue and for things to work out. Imagine security having to pick from the large line people, trying to find those who held precedence over the rest.

You can't find flaws in the D-Money Players Ball diamond-like structure. I'm sure the good fella had enough fun inside the ball to warm himself up for many more years of waiting in line!
