you really shouldn't say that cause there is a seo forum with x1000 more info and help for free...

Kevsh 01-23-2005 10:20 PM

Love the comparison of the shopping engines! When I ran a mainstream e-commerce site a few years back I promoted heavily on Froogle. They only referred a modest number of sales but it was a great tool to see what competitors were charging, allowing me to adjust prices to match/beat them.

:thumbsup

Shouldn't you wait to see what is written before you make that determination?

How many of those forums will take you by the hand and teach you how to build an adult site from scratch that is SE friendly?

Froogle is a good one to use (since it is free). And it does generate a couple sales a week. You can seo things a bit as well now :)

Just a observation. If 1000 webmasters use your advise them it seems that 99% are going to be VERY disapppointed with the results.

Why is that? You think they are all going to go for the exact same keywords/niche?

OK let my clarify. If 1000 webmasters all promoting the same niche and keywords.

Happy now?

You are probably right, however, if you read the blog you might have noticed that you were directed on how to pick appropriate keywords and domain names for whatever niche you might opt to use.

Anyone picking the same niche as someone else solely because that other person did well with it is probably going to be disappointed anyway. One should always pick a niche that they like personally, or that they know well.

Trying to sell balloon fetish sites because someone else does well with that niche is doomed to failure if they know nothing about the niche.

So the first thing you want to do is pick a niche you know something about.
