Not sure exactly but my left index finger is still bit sore. Very dangerous weather. I could only stand outside for a few minutes before jumping back into the car.

I love snow. I used to live in Michigan. I wish I had that kind of snow here right now... Nothing beats pegging snowballs at people walking by your house.

What town do you live in? I lived in Michigan until a year ago then moved to PA to go to school. I lived near a town called Northville, kinda close to Novi?

That is how it is here too, if not worse. I felt bad for one of my neighbors with a bubble back civic, the thing looked like a heap of snow.

seriously, it's beyond me... i gotta be in Montreal next week on business for 4 weeks and i'm dreading it...

I graduated from Novi High School, what now seems like an eternity ago, back when most of the area was farm land :)

Live up north of Mt. Pleasant now. We got about 4-6" during this last snowfall but it sounds like SE Michigan got hit harder than we did.

It's actually a very beautiful state with tons of wildlife and recreation. If you are not an outdoors person or don't enjoy wilderness, or the cold this state is definitely not for you. However if you enjoy seeing beautiful wilderness, going snowmobiling, ice fishing, skiing, or in the summer time visiting one of the many nice inland lakes, then Michigan is a great place to live. Snow isn't all that bad :) I put 100 miles on my snowmobiles yesterday and had a great time doing it.

Living on a lake and in Central Michigan now I get todo a lot more than living in the city. I can walk out my back door in the summer and go out on the boat, go fishing, or take the jet-skis out. In the winter i can go snowmobiling, ice fishing, hunting etc. There really is a lot to do here.
