We are trying to figure out the right price for our VOD software...please help
 

What would you say would be the appropriate price to put on a turnkey Video On Demand software.

How can one do business with out caring about what his/her potential customes/clients think?

Actually, I don't expect you to do that...but even a small percentage of payments cycled through the system.

Along the lines of a "Free TGP Trading Script" that we all know isn't "really" free.

We dont know if we are going to sell the software outright or partner up with our clients as well.

Well let me try it out for awhile, then I will tell you what I feel it is worth :winkwink:

50k sounds appropriate considering who extensive our program is but, how many people will we be able to sell to at that price?

I want to be able to sell 100 copies this year as add-ons to already exzisting affiliate programs or new comers as well.

at 50K I'd expect maybe 5 clients...

If your target is 100 clients, you should stick to the 8K-12K range :2 cents:

Just kidding, now on the serious side, our software has pps,ppm,rev-share tracking, it has a gallery maker that is data base driven which can make you 1000's of galleries instantly, it has instant drm packaging, its got a content management system, it is very effeciently and dynamically programmed, and best of all, it is tight with no leaks like the other systems have as far as VOD is concerned......there is a lot more, when you are ready to see what we have done just hit me up on the icq # on my sig or email me @ marty at videopass dot com.

As I see it you have a few directions that you could go with it. Price it low and go for volume, you could do even more than 100+ sales or price it high which would keep the jokers out of the game and you would have only serious clients that treat this as a real business. It all depends on how saturated you want the market to get with VOD.

Then my suggestion wasn't all that far off.
