Entropy 01-23-2005 05:26 AM

Use shampoo when there is no hair?

d00t 01-23-2005 06:35 AM

clean it as you would your arm..or leg....

The dermis on your scalp will secret more oil than the rest of your body. This is because it expects hair to be there and it is its job is to condition it. Shampoo is designed to remove the build up of these oils better than shower gel. A dandruff shampoo works really well because it keeps the shine on your head down while conditioning the skin to reduce flakes.
There are also shower gels designed to work as a shampoo and body cleanser you could try.

most soaps will tend to dry your scalp out too

jacked 01-23-2005 08:23 AM

doesn't shampooing dry out the scalp and cause the hair to grow back faster?

tungsten 01-23-2005 08:27 AM

shampoo :)

That's why I suggested using a dandruff shampoo.

I still can not decide ..shampoo or shower gell, but there is another thing I would like to ask also.
Should I use after shave balm on my head after shaving or not, and if I should which one would be the best to use?

swedguy 01-23-2005 08:53 AM

For best effect, use:

Hon, the only difference is a matter of seconds. Is your schedule that tight that you have to make a choice between shampoo and bodywash? Set your alarm one minute earlier per day and indulge in taking a shower 60 seconds longer. :thumbsup
