I doubt it. One of my best friends is Swiss, and I am pretty sure he would have mentioned it 1,000 times if it were

Transnational Issues Switzerland
Disputes - international:
none
Illicit drugs:
a major international financial center vulnerable to the layering and integration stages of money laundering; despite significant legislation and reporting requirements, secrecy rules persist and nonresidents are permitted to conduct business through offshore entities and various intermediaries; transit country for and consumer of South American cocaine and Southwest Asian heroin

That sure sounds like some quote out of the CIA handbook :1orglaugh

Typical bullshit ya would get there - it makes it sound the whole country is acting illegally in some way :-) Pity it don't suit some folks...

what good are ski slopes w/out a nice fat doob?

Morgan 01-23-2005 02:47 AM

and so none of this passed??

http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/1985.html

Morgan 01-23-2005 02:49 AM

and i read this:

"There are now well over 400 stores selling high-THC cannabis in Switzerland, officially for any reason other than smoking it, plus another 300-odd hemp farmers, processors and hash makers. Their fine produce keeps not only the locals happy, but also thousands of hemp enthusiasts from neighbouring Germany, France and Italy who cross the border in search of the legendary Swiss mountain high."

from here:
http://www.norml.org.nz/article336.html

seems as if you can buy it legally as long as you arent going to smoke it, lol.

They make good quality rope out of hemp in Switzerland. What else you think hemp farmers do? Something illegal? :winkwink:

pot is not legal, but it is widely available and hardly prosecuted.

what else would you like to know?

Switzerland is a very beautiful place and you will find that things are a lot more lax up in the mountain resorts. I am sure you will be ok.

Smoking dope has also been de-criminalized in the UK btw. :2 cents:

BRISK 01-26-2005 03:33 AM

Fact: Switzerland is beautiful.

MyNameIsEmily 01-26-2005 03:56 AM

It's too cold over there.

JOP 01-26-2005 04:22 AM
